While some fans raved about the latest range, certain shoppers remained sceptical

Those on the prowl for a caffeine kick might be entranced by Tesco's latest additions to its stock as the new coffee range is rolled out across stores.

Bursting with five new flavours, the supermarket's new coffee collection offers something for everyone, from unsweetened to salted caramel - even strawberry matcha.

A very simple beverage to make at home, all you have to do is shake the bottle before measuring out 50ml of the concentrate, adding 150ml of cold water, cold milk or any milk alternative of your choice.

Then, Tesco recommends adding ice, stir and enjoy sipping on the iced drink.

For just £3.50 per bottle, coffee lovers can get their hands on an unsweetened, sweetened, vanilla, salted caramel and strawberry matcha flavours - as well as a decaffeinated one.

Taking to social media to rave about the new collection, one Tesco fan said that the items look "interesting" as one emphasised its uniqueness, saying: "I need to try this. I’ve never seen it before."

Meanwhile, other fans started brainstorming outlandish ways to deploy the supermarket's products - with some even suggesting to add the product into baking.

One wondered if they would be "any good to flavour coffee cakes and buttercream", while another user confirmed that it was "great for making moist coffee cake".

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS

But, for those who prefer a bit more alcohol mixed with their caffeine, one fan asked whether anyone had yet experimented with the concentrate to make espresso martinis.

However, the reception was not all buzzing with excitement. Some commenters ran to the comments to express their disdain for the product's flavours.

"Why is everything salted caramel now, I just want regular caramel," one user lamented, while another blasted the supermarket, crying out: "Just give us plain caramel, I’m so fed up of the salted."

While one was jubilant that it was much cheaper than buying a coffee machine, another urged coffee lovers to "just make yourselves a coffee at home and stop buying these nasty things".

Additionally, the product's packaging came under fire as well, described as "unappealing" as one individual called on Tesco to "up their packaging game".

What has enticed shoppers more wholeheartedly is the company's icing flavours. The new range, perfect for sweet-toothed fans, sparked excitement across social media platforms last month, with shoppers itching to sample the supermarket's Strawberries & Cream and Pistachio varieties.

The new frostings have even inspired baking ideas, with one commenter suggesting they "would be nice on chocolate cupcakes".
