Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are divided on how to move forward amid the ongoing feud with the Royal Family, according to a source.

The Sussexes' divide with senior royals emerged after Harry and Meghan stepped back from their duties in 2020.

The couple's mounting tensions with the Royal Family became public through an explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey, their Netflix documentary series and Harry's bestselling memoir Spare.

A source close to the Sussexes revealed the couple are "aware of everything going on in England, but they're being left out of the details there is clearly no trust."

Whilst the pair remain united in supporting each other, they approach the royal divide from markedly different perspectives.

Meghan "is very business about it" and remains focused on the future, according to the source, whilst Harry continues to have "one foot in the past."

Last month, the Duke of Sussex expressed his desire for reconciliation with the Royal Family in an emotional interview following his legal defeat over security arrangements in the UK.

The legal battle had been ongoing for five years, with Harry describing it as "the sticking point" and "the only thing that's left" in the disagreements with his family.

However, Harry took public swipes at senior royals including Princess Kate, Prince William and Queen Camilla in his 2023 autobiography "Spare".

Following the release of the book the Prince and Princess of Wales cut contact with Harry.

The Duke acknowledged the lasting impact of his memoir on family relations.

"Of course, some members of my family will never forgive me for writing a book, of course they will never forgive me for lots of things," he said.
